White Horse Laboratories expands regionalization strategy – First test lab open in Singapore
Singapore. Shortly after the opening of its first US-based testing facility in Cleveland, Ohio, White Horse Laboratories today announced the same move for Singapore. The company’s electronics manufacturing experience and high-quality testing processes on site, combined with a strong global corporate network, provide a previously unavailable service offering to Singapore.
Although the industry is struggling globally with high inflation, energy prices, and geopolitical uncertainties, the electronics industry in Singapore has been growing steadily for the past two years.
At Singapore’s Gordon E. Moore Testing Center, White Horse Laboratories offers the full range of AS6081 required test methods (levels A1-A6 and C), with documentation and packaging inspection, detailed visual inspection, X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and X-ray analysis, heated solvent testing, decapsulation and die analysis, solderability testing, cross-section, and electrical testing.
A particular highlight for customers of the Singapore facility is White Horse Laboratories’ proven automation strategy for the programming and packaging process, which ensures shorter turnaround times, error-free processing and lower costs. Thanks to a high-speed programmer/taper with speeds of up to 3,000 pieces per hour, large quantities are programmed, taped and shipped within a few days. A cloud-based program management ensures the security of customers’ IP when programming the inventory.
