White Horse Laboratories Achieves IEC/ISO 17025-2017 Accreditation for William Shockley Test Centre in Shenzhen and Jack Kilby Testing Centre in Cleveland

White Horse Laboratories, a global leader in electronics testing and quality assurance services, is proud to announce the recent achievement of the IEC/ISO 17025-2017 accreditation for its laboratory operations both at the William Shockley Test Centre in Shenzhen, China and the Jack Kilby Testing Centre in Cleveland, United States. This marks a significant achievement in demonstrating the company’s commitment to providing the highest standards of quality across all its facilities worldwide.

“We are extremely pleased to have achieved the IEC/ISO 17025-2017 accreditation for both our laboratories,” said Mark Rinehart, Founder and Managing Director of White Horse Laboratories. “This accreditation reflects the dedication and hard work of our team and reiterates our commitment to providing reliable and top-notch services to our customers.”

The IEC/ISO 17025-2017 standard validates the technical competence of laboratories to perform tests and/or calibrations, including sampling. It is a key accreditation in line with AS6171 and AS6081 standards, which provide the test methods and requirements to detect suspect counterfeit electronic components. Achieving accreditation in these standards ensures that White Horse Laboratories’ testing methods are recognized, traceable, and meet international standards, which in turn provides an assurance of the quality and reliability of their services.

Rinehart further added, “The 17025 accreditation is not just a certification but a reaffirmation of our mission to deliver consistent and high-quality testing services to our customers. It further ensures that our customers can trust that all White Horse Laboratories operate under the same quality criteria and high standards, no matter where they are in the world.”
