Sebastian Schaal, Founder & Managing Director, Luminovo explains his solution’s new positioning to EMSNOW in preparation for their appearance at Electronica in November. Luminovo’s product offering began as a quoting tool and as modules were added it became a suite; now Sebastian says it has become a platform with a la carte modules that can be adapted to each customer type in the supply chain. While originally intended to provide design to source support, helping users become more digital and automate these tasks, now that the solution is gaining traction in the industry, more functionality is being added to help companies bundle their material demand and negotiate better contracts. And with the partnership with Sluicebox, the tool enables companies to add Scope 3 emissions data to their quoting.
