TTI Announces 2023 Winners of the Supplier Excellence Awards

Fort Worth, Texas  − TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, today announced the winners of its prestigious Supplier Excellence Awards.

Melanie Pizzey, Corporate Senior Vice President – Strategic Initiatives and Business Transformation, made the announcement. “We are pleased to announce the 2023 Supplier Excellence Award winners.” TTI acknowledges the following suppliers for their outstanding performance: KOA, Bourns, Yageo, Osram and Taiyo Yuden.

In its thirteenth year, the Global Operations Excellence Award recognizes the supplier who earns the award in all three TTI regions – Americas, EMEA and Asia and scoring the highest total points globally. In a close competition for the 2023 recognition, three suppliers qualified for the prestigious award: KOA, Bourns and Yageo. Scoring the highest number of total points including all regions, KOA will receive the Global Operations Excellence award.

Pizzey commented, “For many years, KOA has been a global award contender, which demonstrates their commitment to quality and continuous improvement. It is nice to see the KOA team reap the benefits of their hard work by achieving this coveted award. For the Americas region, TTI presents KOA, Bourns, and Yageo with the Platinum award which requires five consecutive years of award recognition. First-time Supplier Excellence Award winners Osram and Taiyo Yuden will be recognized for their dedication and commitment to operational excellence.

KOA also will be recognized with the Best Quality Award for the Americas as well as the Diamond Award for the highest overall point achievement. Additional announcements recognizing the individual award winners in our Asia and EMEA regions will be forthcoming.

The Supplier Excellence program focuses on quality measurements that include: on-time delivery, receiving quality, customer-reported quality, administrative quality, operations and business systems. In addition, there are performance measurements such as sales and management support.

Pizzey said, “The TTI SEA program has been instrumental in elevating supplier and distributor performance since the program’s inception in 1995. Our award criteria are challenging, and we are pleased that our suppliers continue to embrace the program and strive for continuous improvement.” She added, “The numerous supply chain challenges continued throughout 2023, and this group of elite suppliers have proven that regardless of the situation, they are capable of overcoming obstacles to consistently deliver quality and best-in-class levels of service.”
