PEI-Genesis Promotes Peter Austin to Sr VP

PEI-Genesis, an assembler of precision connectors, has promoted Peter Austin to Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, Product Management, Marketing & Training, effective immediately. He will continue to report directly to Steven Fisher, PEI-Genesis Chairman and CEO.

“Since joining PEI-Genesis in 2016, Peter’s contributions have been nothing short of stellar,” said Fisher. “With
over 20 years in the electronics industry, Austin’s innovative thinking and solid track record have helped us
achieve a series of solid accomplishments, including broadening our global inventory, a new digital E-Commerce
capability and deeper supplier engagements, all of which have brought great value to our company and to our
customers.”

In addition to his current responsibilities, Austin will now oversee all the company’s operations in South Bend,
Indiana and Nogales, Mexico.

“The past two years have been both challenging and exciting,” said Austin. “As I add the North American
manufacturing component to my responsibilities, the integration of these areas in my portfolio will allow me to
look at the bigger picture, working with our international team, and focusing our strategic efforts across the
disciplines.”

Before joining PEI-Genesis, Austin was Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at NXP Semiconductors and
prior to that, served as Director of Global Business Management at National Semiconductor where he oversaw
the company’s product portfolio, leveraging and maximizing product line revenues through price and margin
optimization strategies. He also spent 13 years with Future Electronics in various roles including Director and
Worldwide Business Manager, Corporate Product Marketing.
