McKinsey Hosts Women in STEM Video Series

Women are chronically underrepresented in the tech sector. Perhaps more alarming is that the trend is headed in the wrong direction. While women earn about half of science and engineering degrees, they make up less than 20 percent of people employed in these fields. And for many who enter this career path, they are commonly the only person of their gender in a room.

With this reality, McKinsey has created a video series of women leaders in STEM to celebrate these trailblazers and their perseverance. Featuring senior women at the firm in conversations with entrepreneurs, CIOs, financiers, and more—they share stories of how they got to where they are today and the ways they’re working on bringing greater diversity to the field.
