LCA Group is hiring! Technicians and engineers wanted for new roles at state-of-the-art site

Control panel wiring technician and control panel design engineer roles needed to meet increasing demand

Hawarden electrical engineering firm, LCA Group, is searching for the region’s top engineering talent to join its ranks as plans to boost productivity gather pace.

The firm has recently relocated to a state-of-the-art facility in North Wales, and after investing half a million pounds in new ‘UK first’ 3D design and manufacturing technology, it’s launching a recruitment drive to meet increasing demand from customers around the globe.

The first roles on offer are for experienced control panel wiring technicians and control panel design engineers.

The engineers should be qualified to HNC level in electrical engineering, with supporting professional training accreditations and have at least five years’ experience in electrical design of industrial electrical control panels.

The technicians should also have a suitable and recognised electrical qualification and have experience of working to an ISO 9001 2015 Quality Management System.

All roles will be based at LCA Groups’ new Gibson House site in Hawarden, which is named after legendary Lancaster bomber pilot Guy Gibson, who famously led the 1943 Dambusters raid.

LCA Group Operations Director Paul Griffiths said: “We know 2018 is going to be an incredibly exciting year for LCA Group and we’re proud to be kicking it off by giving people the chance to join our talented team of engineers and technicians.

“The move to Hawarden has given us the chance to expand our customer base and expand our workforce to meet the increased demand that that brings.

“We only want the very best people because we never want to compromise on the quality we’re famous for.”
