Global Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI)

iNEMI is launching a series of webinars that will focus on smart manufacturing topics. The first webinar in this series features Ben Ong, an Expert Fellow from the World Economic Forum, who will talk about the Forum’s Global Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) initiative.
SIRI comprises a suite of frameworks and tools to help manufacturers – regardless of size and industry – start, scale and sustain their manufacturing transformation journeys. It increases industry awareness and helps organizations set targets they can work toward. It also provides a consistent, structured framework for manufacturers to benchmark against their peers, pinpoint their strengths and weaknesses to better prioritize their development efforts and resources, and track their progress in digital transformation.
The World Economic Forum, together with key industry partners, is promoting the adoption of SIRI as the international standard for Industry 4.0 benchmarking and transformation. The goal is to catalyze the adoption of Industry 4.0 methodologies and technologies across the global manufacturing community and provide quantitative indicators for international benchmarking. If you haven’t already responded to the iNEMI survey about smart manufacturing maturity in your organization — we need your input. We are surveying iNEMI members and the electronics industry at large to help define and develop future iNEMI collaborative activities in smart manufacturing.
The survey asks about stages of implementation for smart manufacturing within your organization, use of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) for PCBA/SMT processes, use of digital twins for PCBA/SMT processes and for the electronics manufacturing industry.
