The Data Management Best Practices for PCB Assembly project assessed the current landscape of data management for smart manufacturing. Drawing on multiple use cases from participating organizations, the team created a flowchart of datasets for the data a smart manufacturing operation might need for communication among equipment. They also demonstrated how this data could be used to improve processes.
In this webinar, the team will review the smart data best practices for various use cases (such as surface mount print process) and discuss the opportunities and challenges in data management. They will also present topics being considered for new smart manufacturing projects by iNEMI’s Smart Manufacturing Technology Integration Group (TIG) in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and digital twinning.
