Indium Corporation to Participate in SMTAI EV Roundtable

Indium Corporation’s Brian O’Leary, global accounts manager and global head of e-Mobility and infrastructure, will be participating in an electric vehicles (EV) roundtable discussion at SMTA International from 11:30 a.m-12:30 p.m. Central, Nov. 3 in Minneapolis, Minn.

Whether it’s the endless wonders of Tesla or a multibillion-dollar recall of GM’s Bolts, electric vehicles (EVs) are in the news almost every day now for reasons both good and bad. However, electric vehicles have actually been around since the 1800s, so why the sudden interest?

In Electric Vehicles Roundtable Discussion: Fad, Fantasy, or Fortune in SMT, panelists will discuss the emerging EV market: why it hit an inflection point and how the world should be responding. They’ll discuss opportunities for business growth and, more importantly, the responsibility of industry leaders to be good stewards in PCBA for automotive applications. Joining O’Leary is SMTAI keynote speaker Loren McDonald, CEO at EVAdoption, LLC, and Debbie Carboni, global product manager at KYZEN.

O’Leary is responsible for promoting Indium Corporation’s full range of products and services for e-Mobility, which includes electric vehicles, charging stations and infrastructure, etc. He joined Indium Corporation in 2014 and has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and channel management in the electronics industry. He earned his master’s degree in international management at the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, Phoenix, Arizona. He also co-authored two books on thermal profiling: Profiling Guide for Profitability and Profiling Guide for Six Sigma.
