Filtration Leader achieves ISO 9001:2015 certification
Porvair Filtration Group’s Boise Division in Idaho has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, demonstrating its commitment to exceptional quality, customer service and the drive for continuous improvement.
Porvair, Boise Division – a global producer of high performance gas filtration for the microelectronics market – had its management systems formally assessed and has now been recognized by the International Certification.
It will hold the ISO 9001:2015 certification for three years, and will continue to ensure that customers get consistent, high quality products and services, which add high value to their process or equipment.
Porvair’s adherence to ISO 9001:2015 and the strict application of its quality system ensure customers’ expectations are met in full and product quality is consistently at the highest standard.
Porvair has a dedicated team of quality professionals with many years’ experience in implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems, meeting multiple industry requirements.
This extends across its workforce through a strong quality culture and a philosophy of ‘getting it right first time’, driven from the top of the organisation.
In 2015, Porvair Filtration Group acquired North American company TEM Filters Inc. This has become Porvair’s Boise Division, which designs and manufactures a range of filters for the microelectronics industry.
The acquisition of TEM Filters brought with it a new product range that complements Porvair’s flow restrictors and sintered metal powder filters sold into this market. The business is committed to developing an extensive product range to this exciting and growing market.
Earlier this year, Porvair was named ‘Large Business Subcontractor of the Year’ by the largest construction and civil engineering company in the United States.
Porvair was recognised by Bechtel Inc. at its prestigious annual Supply Chain Recognition Awards, held in Washington DC in June.
The company was selected for the honor from more than 1,400 worldwide suppliers and subcontractors for its “outstanding contribution and commitment to the Bechtel team”.
Porvair US President, Kevin Nelson, said of the ISO recognition by the Boise Division: “We are very proud to have received this certification from the world’s premier inspection, verification, testing, and certification company, reaffirming our commitment to strong customer focus and continual improvement.
“We always work to exceed expectations and deliver continuous improvement across all of our operations, and our new ISO 9001:2015 certification is a fantastic testament to our diligent, hard-working staff as we look to further strengthen our offering.
“It says much for Porvair that we have been able to successfully demonstrate our ability in this area.”
He added: “The ISO 9001:2015 certification is not just a recognition of our tireless efforts to develop and manufacture the best products and services available, but also underlines our intention to continuing doing so.”
