From the Publisher: Eric Miscoll became Publisher of EMSNow in the fall of 2017. Mr. Miscoll has 20 years of electronics manufacturing industry experience as a consultant, researcher, and senior manager.
Most recently Mr. Miscoll served as Managing Principal for Charlie Barnhart & Associates, a specialty consulting firm serving electronics OEM and EMS companies. Prior to Charlie Barnhart & Associates, Mr. Miscoll was Vice President and General Manager of TXP Corporation’s PCB Design and Assembly division. In this role, he had full P&L responsibility for the business and oversaw daily operations and sales activities. Mr. Miscoll was also a member of the Board of Directors for the company.
Prior to joining TXP Mr. Miscoll was Chief Operating Officer/Chief HR Officer of Technology Forecasters, Inc. the leading strategic consulting firm focused solely on the outsourced electronics manufacturing industry.
Mr. Miscoll is a frequent industry speaker and commentator on the electronics manufacturing industry.
Previous work experience includes operations management with Bank of America, organizational development with NASA, and psychological services with the U.S. Department of Justice.
Mr. Miscoll has a PhD in Organizational Psychology from Alliant University, an MA in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, and a B.A. in English from St. Mary’s College.
