EMSNOW & in4ma – Tour #5 Begins November 4th!

EMSNOW and in4ma are preparing to launch their fifth tour of EMS companies in four years. This tour is scheduled for the first week of November 2024 and will include site visits with EMS companies in Lithuania, Romania and Germany, and attendance at Electronica 2024 in Munich, Germany.

Follow along with our daily podcasts detailing the companies we visit and the general exploits of our tour on EMSNOW.

Eric Miscoll of EMSNOW and Dieter Weiss of in4ma will launch the tour on November 4th in Lithuania and end it on November 11th in Germany, prior to their participation in Electronica from November 12-14 where they will meet with and interview many more European and international EMS companies in Hall A1.

The purpose of these tours is to gain insight into the EMS business and trends in these different regions of the industry which Eric and Dieter will report on via daily podcasts throughout the tour, a post trip interview, and a written tour report. Profiles of all EMS companies visited will be made available via the EMSNOW website after the tour.

“Dieter and I launched our first tour in the winter of 2021 while most of Europe and the world were still under COVID restrictions. Since then, we have visited 61 EMS companies in 13 different countries. These visits and discussions with EMS companies have proven to be invaluable to our ongoing understanding and reporting of trends impacting the global electronics manufacturing industry.” commented EMSNOW Publisher Eric Miscoll.

“The EMS industry has been on a bumpy ride in 2024 but is proving itself to be resilient and focused on meeting its customers’ evolving demands. This tour will include a very interesting company in Lithuania, plus several of the largest global EMS companies operating in Eastern Europe. We have to date not included any of the North American based global EMS in our tours, but they are a significant force in the European EMS industry, and I am glad to be including some in this tour. I wish to thank all the EMS companies who are allowing us to visit them.” added Dieter Weiss of in4ma.

EMSNOW wishes to acknowledge this year’s tour sponsors:

  • CalcuQuote: Empowering Supply Chain Visibility and Efficiency.
  • Cogiscan: meeting the needs of high-reliability manufacturers since 1999.
  • Koh Young: Intelligent Inspection.
  • TrustedParts: Genuine electronic components from only authorized sources.

Their support allows us to conduct these tours and provide these important insights to the industry. We encourage you to learn more about how each of these companies can help improve your operations.
