ECIA Names Robert Derringer Chair of 2022 Executive Conference Committee

Conference Will Resume in Rosemont after Two Year Break Due to Covid

ATLANTA – ECIA is pleased to announce that Robert Derringer, Director, Global Channel at Crouzet, has accepted the position of Chair of the next Executive Conference. Robert is very active in ECIA and currently serves on the Manufacturer Council and the E-Learning Committee.

“As I look ahead to this year’s ECIA Executive Conference, the words honor, excitement, and anticipation fill my mind,” Derringer commented. “As honored as I am to be this year’s Conference Chair, I am equally excited to work with a highly respected Conference Committee that will deliver a conference where energy, insight, and inspiration abound. Finally, I’m filled with anticipation at the prospect of connecting in-person with the many people I’ve met virtually the past two years; making new connections; and reconnecting with the many friends and colleagues that have supported me in my 30+ years in this amazing industry!”

“The theme of the last Conference we were able to hold was ‘Vision 2020: Leading with Clarity’,” recalled ECIA Sr. Vice President Victor Meijers. “When we met in October 2019 to consider the next decade, I doubt anyone could imagine what 2020 would actually bring. It’s now time to start planning the 2022 agenda and we are very fortunate to have Robert Derringer and the committee to help the industry make sense of the challenges of the past few years and forge ahead. Robert has been an enthusiastic supporter of ECIA for many years and his valuable contributions to multiple initiatives are greatly appreciated.”
