ECIA Hosts Board of Directors’ Annual Review and Economic Update Webinar Monday | November 9 | 2:00-3:30 EST

Atlanta – ECIA has scheduled a webinar to brief members and the industry about 2020 initiatives and future association projects. Dale Ford, ECIA’s Chief Analyst will also provide an economic update based on his surveys and research of this most challenging year. The current roster of Board of Directors will be available to take questions and report on the state of the association.
ECIA President and CEO David Loftus shared, “The agenda includes an update from outgoing Board Chairman Jeff Thomson, ON Semiconductor as he hands the reins over to Frank Flynn, Sager Electronics. Also on the agenda is a review of the year’s activities. There will be plenty of time for questions from the attendees.” The webinar will conclude with an economic presentation from Dale Ford.“This annual review has historically occurred at the Executive Conference in October in Rosemont, which had to be cancelled this year,” Thomson explained. “It is one of the most popular and engaging sessions and allows members to hear directly from the Board about the strategy and thinking behind the decisions that have been made about what initiatives to pursue. We hope this webinar can be a substitute for those in-person discussions. The upside is we can theoretically have broader participation, opening up to the public and to all the members, unlike the Executive Conference where only attendees can take part,” he concluded.
