Mouser’s Grant Imahara Joins Experts from KUKA and Georgia Tech

Atlanta, GA – ECIA is pleased to announce that Mouser Electronics’ Spokesperson Grant Imahara will highlight this year’s 2018 ECIA Executive Conferenceat Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel in Rosemont, IL. Formerly co-host of Mythbusters, Imahara now hosts Mouser’s 5-part video series ‘Generation Robot,’ part of Mouser’s Empowering Innovation Together program.Robots are likely to be as disruptive as the automobile, causing us to rethink the way we live and work. In this interactive and lively panel on Monday October 22, Imahara discusses the frontiers of robotics with experts from robotics manufacturer KUKA and the Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines at Georgia Tech.

“I think this session will really open some minds about the disruptive and transformative possibilities of robotics and the impact on the electronic component supply chain,” commented ECIA Vice President of Member Engagement Debbie Conyers. “We are already seeing component shortages arising as a result of, among other things, the explosion of new applications from transformative technologies. Our industry needs to be ready. Registration is expected to be very robust this year, so we are encouraging attendees to take advantage of the early bird registration,”she added.

The ECIA Executive Conference is the only conference where senior management teams from the electronics industry’s leading companies – representing the entire supply chain – gather to understand and address cross-enterprise challenges. Here’s where you can gain access to industry experts and knowledge, forge the relationships that can make a real difference, and learn how to remove roadblocks to success. The Executive Conference has been a must-attend event for more than 30 years – there is no other event that offers an in-depth look at the electronics components industry and is as geared towards industry-specific education and fostering meaningful relationships across this section of the supply chain network.
