Cleveland Clinic and IBM to Keynote SMTA Medical Symposium
Minneapolis, MN – The SMTA is pleased to announce the keynotes for the 2019 Medical Electronics Symposium to be held May 21 and 22, 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. John U. Knickerbocker, Manager: Micro Systems Technology & Solutions, Healthcare and Life Sciences Industry, IBM Corporation, will deliver the first keynote presentation titled “From Health Data to Insights and Care that Improve Patients Lives.” Jonathan Sakai, Director, Medical Device Commercialization, Cleveland Clinic, will deliver the second keynote presentation titled “Designing for the Future of Healthcare.”
Conference sessions will address Designs, Components and Assembly for High Density Medical Electronics Solutions and Next Generation Microelectronics for Changing Healthcare Markets. Presenters included in the conference are from Medtronic, Case Western University, Minneapolis Heart Institute and Abbott among others. The full technical program will be finalized soon.
The expo will be held May 21 in conjunction with the conference, and is open for the public to attend.
