ASMPT hires new General Manager for Mexico
Suwanee (USA) – ASMPT has appointed Ramon Hernandez as Country Manager for Mexico. Ramon Hernandez has many years of experience in the electronics assembly industry in various roles including General Manager.
Ramon Hernandez holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Direction in Quality from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Electronic Engineering from the Centro de Ensenanza Tecnica Industrial, Guadalajara, Mexico.
Mr. Hernandez has 23 years of experience in the electronics industry. After acquiring technical knowledge in the early years, he quickly grew into the role of a salesman, learning about test, inspection, AOI systems, SMT and other technologies from distributors, agents and manufacturers. He has developed strategies to make the Mexican business a significant revenue contributor for the Americas region and has gained greater involvement in global equipment and process decisions. As Global Account Corporate Manager, he worked to retain and follow up on key accounts and worked closely with corporate to improve technologies.
