Air Ambulance Donations Peak Thanks to OrderWise

Thirteen brave members of staff from Saxilby-based software specialist OrderWise took part in The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, taking the current total raised by the firm for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance to £1,767.

Holly Johnson, Hannah Collins, Charlotte Hill, Megan Crossman, Joe Hawley, Joe Osbourne, James Gore, Ashley Dawson, James Jackson, Kurt Bartle, Becky Allard, Dave Collins and Richard Cone all took part in the 24-mile route earlier this summer, taking on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough which includes a 1585m ascent.

OrderWise has now raised almost half of the amount that it has pledged to raise for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, which is the company’s chosen charity of the year for 2019.

David Hallam, founder and CEO at OrderWise, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting and fundraising for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

“The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is one of the UK’s leading Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) charities and its lifesaving missions are funded entirely by donations. After discovering that it is keen to operate 24/7 flying, our staff were eager to push themselves in completing the Three Peaks Challenge – even through consistently wet conditions!

“Everyone at OrderWise is incredibly proud of all those that participated in the event – and for raising such an impressive amount. Thanks to their efforts and the generous donations we’ve received, we are now halfway to reaching our fundraising goal.”

OrderWise will be raising money throughout the year to help fund the vital pre-hospital and critical care that the air ambulance provides across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
