ECIA Will Sponsor Women in Electronics and Host Informational Meeting After Executive Conference

Atlanta, GA – ECIA is pleased to announce it supports the newly formed Women in Electronics industry association, announced last year. Women in Electronics is the first national non-profit association dedicated to empowering women towards brighter careers in the electronics industry. Powered by women, the group represents the electronic components industry specifically, and is looking for members, sponsors and activists who can help shape the agenda for the next generation of women leaders. The theme is ‘Better than our Best.’ ECIA is a sponsor of this important meeting. During this interactive event, attendees will learn more about Women in Electronics – its mission, goals and plans as a non-profit designed to support women in our industry. Some of the top industry leaders will be in attendance as well as presenting at the conference. The group will exchange ideas, hear insights on women-centric topics, and network with 75 other peers and leaders from the electronics industry. “We can become the change we seek to create if WE have the will to create it,” said Jackie Mattox, Women in Electronics’ Founder and President.
