Michael J. Mitchell Appointed Director of Quality at White Horse Laboratories

Cleveland – White Horse Laboratories, a leader in quality assurance and logistics for electronic components, is proud to announce the appointment of Michael J. Mitchell as Director of Quality. With over two decades of experience in aerospace quality management and operational leadership, Michael brings exceptional expertise to White Horse Laboratories as it continues to advance its leadership in electronic component testing and quality assurance.

width="204"Michael’s career began with distinguished service in the United States Air Force, where he retired as a Technical Sergeant after supporting numerous military operations, including the Gulf War. Following his military service, he obtained his FAA Airframe and Powerplant License, which launched his career in aviation with United and Delta Airlines, where he held key roles as an aircraft mechanic and a manager of training.

In 2005, Michael played a pivotal role in launching Delta’s regional airline, Compass Airlines, as Quality Manager, ensuring compliance and operational excellence. He further strengthened his leadership credentials in subsequent positions at Goodrich Corporation, UTC Aerospace Systems, and Safran Electrical and Power Systems, where he contributed to critical projects like the F-35 fighter jet and Boeing 777X.

Most recently, Michael served as Site Quality Manager at Safran, where he led the implementation of AS9100D certification, a crucial achievement in aerospace manufacturing standards.

As Director of Quality at White Horse Laboratories, Michael will be responsible for overseeing all quality management operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the highest levels of product integrity and compliance across the organization.
