Know-how of sensor technology meets wireless expertise: duotec and the Prettl Group will be collaborating on Industrial IoT solutions in future. Cutting-edge sensor technology from duotec combined with the innovative and future-oriented wireless solution from Wireless IoT Solutions (WIS) will provide customers with IoT devices from a single source.

The range of services offered by WIS includes the evaluation of wireless technologies as well as functional and technical product specifications, the creation of prototypes and the integration of wireless protocols into products and components. The focus is on wireless sensor networks for areas of application in smart homes, intelligently networked buildings and the IoT (Internet of Things). In addition to the company’s overall expertise in wireless technologies, WIS also offers a fully scalable narrowband (NB) IoT-based platform for fast and cost-effective networking of IoT solutions. The IoT devices from WIS will be manufactured in the duotec and Prettl Group manufacturing network.

In turn, WIS expands its product portfolio through duotec’s expertise in optical pressure and force sensors, current sensors and temperature measurement. duotec also offers calorimetric flow sensor technology based on MEMS systems.
